Maureen Suhendra is in charge of school implementations at the Khan Academy, a free online education platform where students can make use of an extensive video library, interactive challenges, and assessments from any computer with access to the web. Khan Academy videos are custom self- paced learning tools that include a dynamic system for getting help in subjects such as math, science, computer science, finance, economics and the humanities. Maureen works with teachers and students to redefine what it means to be a successful learner.

(As of September 2012, the Khan Academy has attracted nearly 400,000 subscribers and is changing the face of education in the classroom. In 2012, American magazine Time named Sal Khan in its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world and the Khan Academy is now endorsed by Bill Gates.)
